Projects


DFW International Airport

CP&Y Program/Project Manager for the DFW Terminal Renewal & Improvement Program (TRIP). As the owner's representative I provided management of the design and construction for the TRIP renovation of Terminal E. TRIP was a $3.2B renovation of the four original terminals (Terminals A, B, C and E) as well as construction of new parking garages and rail stations.

URS Project Manager for the DFW Terminal Renewal & Improvement Plan (TRIP). Provided Project Management and Schematic Design coordination for Terminals A, B, C and E and various landside improvements. The TRIP budget was $1.9 billion, 4.3 million SF of terminal renovation, renovation of 14 garages and a new Ground Transportation Center and a DART/FWTA station.


CityCenter

Played a vital role as a key member of the Venue Coordination Team (VCT) for the $9.1 billion CityCenter development project in Las Vegas, Nevada. The VCT not only conducted regular peer reviews of drawings associated with core and shell elements but also managed all the venues to ensure overall client satisfaction. This also required extensive on-site coordination to ensure that all consultants were synchronized. MGM Mirage’s CityCenter is the largest project to ever pursue a LEED certification let alone a Silver rating. The 76-acre development called for seven buildings totaling more than 18 million square feet of hotel rooms, residences, shops and entertainment space. The complex is wedged between the Monte Carlo and Bellagio along Las Vegas Boulevard South. CityCenter now employs more than 12,000 people. The Dallas VCT was awarded MGM Mirage’s Team of the Month for their efforts and effectiveness.


Bloomingdale's SF

Managed a staff of ten to produce all construction documents in a timely manner for the 400,000 square foot flagship Bloomingdales store in San Francisco. Mentored staff in regards to detailing and construction document production. Streamlined CAD procedures and developed a cohesive knowledge base of details, rules, regulations, as well as production procedures.My team’s work gained the prestigious recognition with the following awards:

BC Ferries

Created and Managed a production team that produced construction documents for a variety of projects such as the full renovation of B.C. Ferries Queen of the North. This required channeling workloads and effective communication on an international basis between Montreal, Vancouver, and London. Challenges that were overcome included language barriers, imperial and metric conversions, software-translation issues, and cross-platform discrepancies. Provided a valuable knowledge base that successfully increased the overall efficiency of all partnership firms involved.For before and after photo documentation of this project click here.


Future Shop

Produced all construction documents for seven Future Shop projects efficiently and on time. The first six were tenant fit-outs. The most recent was a full ground-up project. Managed and Coordinated all aspects from project inception to project closeout.


Bell Mobility

Single-handedly Produced all construction documents for multiple Bell Mobility Call Centers on-time and efficiently. Coordinated extensively with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers as well as Furniture Consultants in order to turn out a high-quality end product within budget and on schedule. Following construction, Produced numerous Architectural Sketches to facilitate the artification of the new leasehold.


Via Rail Pacific

Produced all construction documents for the renovation of the Via Rail Pacific Central Station in a timely and efficient manner. Coordinated extensively with Via Rail’s Director of Development & Design in order to turn out a high-quality end product within budget and on schedule.


JFK International

Produced construction documents for numerous Delta Airlines projects at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City including, but not limited to, The Concessions Project, The Main Concourse Renovation, multiple high-end clubs as well as two Duty Free International stores which yielded various interior as well as exterior aesthetic and functional design enhancements.Successfully managed the Delta Corporate I.D. Implementation Program at numerous national airports. This included liaison with Delta officials as well as local Departments of Aviation to coordinate a cohesive program for each designated airport. These projects were completed within a four-month deadline and ahead of schedule.Analyzed and produced an overall egress analysis for Delta Airlines at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. This analysis evaluated egress requirements for all levels of Building 53 and 57. Following the analysis, the necessary changes in egress routes, hardware as well as devices were incorporated into these terminals to satisfy all egress requirements.Managed numerous CAD Documentation projects at John F. Kennedy International Airport. These were large-scale field verifications of entire terminals and cargo buildings of over 1.8 million square feet requiring onsite CAD support and team coordination to produce the final documentation within budget and ahead of schedule.
